Why would you pay for handmade bar soap? Well, first off you can read, recognize, and pronounce every single ingredient on our label. Everything that goes into a batch is high quality and designed to leave your skin soft and moisturized. Second is due to the fact that most commercial “soap” is actually detergent. They can contain harsh detergents that strip your skin and leave it dry. Next is that often they include parabens, propylene glycol, and mineral oil (petrolatum). The big grocery brands will use all kinds of fancy words so you don’t know that you’re bathing in chemicals and industrial lubricant. Then there’s the fact that you’re supporting a small business while also putting something you can feel good about using on your body. We only get one, so why not treat it like royalty!

Welcome to your new favorite soap! These hand crafted bars are fabulous for everyday use in the shower, at the sink, or gift-giving. We formulate our recipes with a very high amount of conditioning oils and butters because dry skin bites!
Our soap-making journey started in 2012 after our newborn son developed severe eczema. After reading ingredient labels and doing a little research, we found that most commercial “soaps” are actually detergents. They can contain tons of chemicals, most of which are hard to pronounce, and lots of synthetics. We decided to take control of what we were putting on our bodies, and it shouldn’t result in dry, flaky skin.
We create everything for these soaps starting with the recipe. Each batch only contains between 9 and 18 bars depending on the size of the mold, so it’s being made in small batches. This allows us to ensure quality and consistency, but keeps product fresh as well. Soap gets better with age, but there is a point in time when it starts to go the other direction and get a little too dried out.
Bars weigh between 4.5 and 5.5 ounces. Ingredients are listed as they will vary. Designs can change from batch to batch, but the recipe typically stays the same. Please read the recipe to make sure you don’t have allergies to any of the ingredients. The tallow is from grass fed cows. The palm is always from a sustainable source. We use coconut, goat, and oat milk for the milk soaps. The goat milk is sourced from a local family. Milk in soap adds a creaminess to the lather as well as extra moisture to your skin.
